Chapter 90. How Did I Get Here?

I slowly open my eyes, blinking softly as I tried to adjust my eyes to harsh overhead light. I looked around and discovered I was in the hospital and someone was sleeping in a chair beside me. I tried to remember how I got to the hospital because the last thing I remember was getting drinks with Soo-Jin.

She was the one sleeping in the chair beside my bed, i needed to ask her how I got here. I called out to her but my voice was sore and barely audible. I tried to sit up and that was when I realized I was hooked up to various tubes and monitors. Panic creeps in as I start to wonder what happened to me. The monitor catches on to my panic and started beeping loudly. The sound woke up Soo-Joo who looked confused but in seeing me went to call for help.
