I didn't want to speak anymore. The thought that something—someone—was growing inside me, living in my stomach, was enough to send a shock through my system. Was I really going to be a mother?

"Hey, baby... Want to see the news? They're saying something interesting..." Vincenzo said. I nodded, even though I didn't expect anything new or important from Russian news.

"Are the Arlington family really this twisted?" The news anchor's voice rang out. The woman next to him chuckled.
