The safe house was packed, but it wasn't just the usual noise of a crowded space.

The kids who had been through hell were finally safe, but the recovery wouldn't be quick. Nurses moved swiftly, vaccinating them, checking for infections, taking care of whatever immediate needs they had. Some of the children were too weak to even sit up; others clung to whatever they could, their faces haunted by memories too terrible to speak of.

"God what is it? Olivia didn't tell me there were more kids in there...." I said and Juliet who at the time being was behind me nodded.

"Yeah, maybe she herself doesn't know. Don't you think so?" She asked and I shrugged not sure how she wouldn't have known that kids were still remaining in that horrible place
