"So.....?" I raised my eyebrows, slowly biting my lip. My legs were raised upwards as I threw them up and down. "Tiger... I'm sorry, I already apologized to you."

"Yeah, but it's not enough, baby. You didn't give me a chance to prove myself."

"Yeah... I was being unreasonable and selfish!" I admitted, the words leaving my lips before I could overthink them. It wasn't easy to say it, but I couldn't pretend anymore. Still, I straightened my shoulders, refusing to seem too vulnerable.

He sighed, running a hand through his hair, and I couldn't help but notice how tired he looked—tired of me, maybe? "And you didn't make it easy to prove myself either, Princess," he said, his tone calm but laced with a hint of frustration.

I tilted my chin, refusing to back down completely. "Y
