It was finally ready. After two months of watching the worker's clean, disinfect, replace carpeting, and install wooden floors, and an ultramodern kitchen, the house on Highland Farms Court was ready to be lived in. It was an exciting time, but it was a bittersweet time also. Since the day Fred was shot, Sharon and her girls had lived with Clark and Julia Atwater and grown to love them as parents and friends. When Fred came home from the hospital, rooms were made into recovery suites, to enforce the regimen of physical therapy the doctors ordered for him.
With four female tattle tales informing their mother of every transgression Fred made during his recovery, Sharon became a drill sergeant when it came to his therapy sessions. She kept reminding him of the wedding in December, and if he wasn't 100% by then, she would make sure he was dead before she walked down the aisle.
