POV: Jaewon
Hye-so leaned over the soundboard, crossing his arms, listening to Harin clear his throat.
“I’m not… affiliated.”
“Not?” Hye-so furrowed his brow and looked at me.
I shrugged.
“SiHo brought him for a test. Let’s start.”
“Are you sure?” Hye-so asked. “Do you know scales and chord formations? Have you taken singing lessons? Can you sing?!”
“Stop bombarding him with questions.” I complained. “Go over there, Harin. I’ll release the sound for you to hear what we need once, you only sing when I give the signal, okay?”
“You need to hand over your phone and any device that can record sound.” Hye-so warned him. “It’s not allowed.”
Harin nodded, taking a deep breath as he handed over his cellphone with earphones wound around it. Before leaving, he bowed again, following SiHo to the recording area. I watched him through the dividing glass and smiled. He seemed fine, even nervous; he seemed much better than the last time I
