Aria's POV

I nodded, listening intently as Jade spoke.

Viktor and Raven watched me in confusion, probably wondering what I was doing.

When Jade was done speaking, I turned to both of them. “Jade said that—”

“Who is Jade?” Raven asked again.

“It’s a long story, I'm not sure what she is” I replied, waving my hands. “Now listen to me. Jade said that no matter what you see, no matter what you hear while I’m doing this… you cannot interrupt me.”

Viktor furrowed his eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

“She means if you interfere, we’ll die,” I said seriously. “Both me and Lilith. That’s how delicate this is.”

Raven’s face turned pale. “You’re not serious.”
