My breath hitched as his lips trailed down my neck. “Mr. Knight, we’re still in your office.”

“Technically, you’re my girlfriend now.” His teeth grazed my skin. “I can kiss my girlfriend wherever I want.”

I opened my mouth to protest or make some witty retort, but he captured my lips with his before any words could escape. It was a long, deep kiss that demanded every ounce of attention and breath I had. My head spun like I’d just stepped off a merry-go-round.

His lips were insistent, claiming mine with an intensity that left me breathless. My body melted against him, betraying the sensible part of my brain, screaming something about professionalism and boundaries.
