It was half past midnight when I arrived at the penthouse. Jacqueline was in my bed with Percy spooned behind her and my brother woke up when he heard me entering the room.

I got changed from my work attire then he followed me to the kitchen, grabbing two bottles of beer and we settled in on the outside terrace.

"Everything goes well?" I asked smirking knowing they were surely busy in his playroom since he hadn't replied to my last text.

"Yeah, perfect, you can wipe that smug off your face."

I laughed and punched his arm playfully. "Dude, you could've played with her months before if you'd only listened to your lovely brother."

"Shut the fuck up, jackass," he looked irritated and took a big gulp of his beer.

"Shit, don't tell me you're still holding yourself back?" I asked seeing his strained face and his slumped shoulder.
