He didn't have any superficial wounds just self-inflicted knuckle wounds. But I think he would recuperate faster if you're by his side." Becca reported Luka's condition to me, the day after he was brought back home.

And dad called me two days after they forced their way into Yegor's safe house and get him back. Then he also said that his brother managed to escape, and told me to go back home. Since that day Megan and I were on lockdown fearing that Yegor might come for me to retaliate.

It had been five days since I've been hiding out at Megan's. Until dad finally ordered me to go back home, and face him like an adult.

"...look, just strip the bandage off."

"He can strip off his own bandage, I'm not his nurse."

"My child, just get back home and let Megan do her job, she's not your nanny."
