Chapter 37. She's Happy with Me

Ethan's POV

I searched around the gala frantically, looking for only one face. The face of the girl that has been clouding my thoughts, even my dreams, for the past few weeks. My fake girlfriend who I was so madly in love with, Rachel.

"Are you sure she's here?" I asked Mark when I saw him coming back from discussing with Frederick Walker, the host of this event.

"Yes boss. I stylishly asked the Old Walker and he told me that he invited all the main leads of Snow Fall Love go this event". Mark answered reassuring me.

I took deep breaths to calm my raging nerves. I had to get my mind off Rachel, even if it was just for a little bit.

"What about the Old man, how is he?"

"Oh, my grandfather is fine. Just the usual complaints of why I should come back to the family business and all, nothing much". Mark said with a shrug and I shook my head at him.
