Chapter 29

Her weak appearance, compared to Bertha's arrogance, looked like she was being bullied by her superiors.

Charmaine felt proud.

Bertha is new and doesn't have enough experience.

Venn used his finger to lightly tap on the table, saying unhappily. “The director of course has the right to make his own decisions, so don't make noise.”

“Yes, Mr. Venn.”

Charmaine angrily sat down with a forced expression.

Bertha stared at her, continuing to speak. “But if you ask, I'll tell you, the person in charge of JK Holdings and I identified the performer at noon yesterday.”

What?

Charmaine opened her eyes wide.

Yesterday afternoon she came to find Bertha to talk about JK Holdings, but she finished discussing the matter at noon.

So, why did she still agree to go to the party last night?

Charmaine glared at her, finding it hard to believe, her expression was like seeing a devil.

So Bertha did it on purpose?
