Chapter 77. Still Alive

As I couldn’t get Tara to change her mind about leaving the house I bought for them, I settled on the next best thing to living in the same house with them, which was seeing them at every chance that I could get.
I planned to spend as much time as I could catching up on all the things I’d missed with Tara and Nadia, and nothing beat the excited look on Tara’s face when I showed up to her diner the next day, or the squeal that erupted from Nadia’s throat when she saw me.
We were making some real progress that I was more than happy with.
“Aidan,” Tara called as soon as Nadia let go of me, disappearing to the back of the diner to go feast on the snacks I picked up for her on my way over. “You’ll spoil her if you keep up with that.”
