Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
I stood before the mirror, brows furrowed, lips pressed into a hard line, both hands gripping something tightly as I stared at my reflection. The quiet room was thick with tension, two pairs of watchful eyes fixed on me.
One gleamed with a mix of amusement and disbelief. The other was cold. Unreadable. My brothers.
