Mia’s POV

Lara: Alright darling, we will chat tomorrow or when you come back, probably in the evening. I'll be at work in the morning.

Me: No issue at all.

I drop a kiss, she reciprocates and the chat comes to an end.

As the chat winds down, I feel a renewed sense of appreciation for the friendships in my life. I lock my phone and place it back in my pocket, focusing on the present, which is my mate. Gavin lets out a smile as I return my attention to him. Now, we can continue our meal without any other thing taking our attention from each other, we are silent but the silence speaks a lot. Our wolves are communicating with each other, which is the highest and most intimate form of communication we can have.

We finished with our dinner and headed to the bathroom to have a sweet and scented bath with each other, we didn't just want to start anything in the bathroom that we would have so we had to use separate bathrooms, to avoid the intense temptation.
