"I'm doing a little bit fine, I heard what happened yesterday."

"Must you concern yourself with that?" I tease her, playfully stamping my foot on the floor. "You love to worry about my troubles."

"Hello, good morning Alpha." I hear a masculine voice behind me, I turn around and it's her mate, Nicolas. I catch him smiling and walking towards Hilaria like she wants to take her away from me. Though she isn't a love partner, I become jealous.

"You came to take her away from me?" I question. He smiles, and can't hide the truth.
