Chapter 177

Gavin's POV

 I didn't know what to say, so I stopped there, I ended the call and went to bed, to recount what had happened. For sure as I'd expected, they arrived at my estate within ten minutes but I didn't go out, I stayed beside my window, watching everything that was going on downstairs. Emma was so called up to herself that she didn't leave the bed. We spent the entire day in the bedroom, Emma managed to eat but I couldn't.

While preparing to go to my office the next morning, I received a call on my phone. Since it's only important calls that connect through my phone, I decided to pick.

"Hello," a mild masculine voice came up.

"Hello, please may I know who this is?" I asked also, in a polite voice, eager to hear who would have an unsaved number whose call would come through when I'd strictly warned those whom I didn't have under my contact list from calling me.
