Chapter 46

 Lara's eyes shake, and from where she sits beside me, she goes sideways in her gaze making me kind of think that she's afraid of what I'm about to say next. 

Don't worry Lara, I wouldn't talk about our secrets. 

I turn towards my right, where Achilles is staring at me expectantly, waiting for me to say something. "Why would you support me to be Luna when you're fighting for the Alpha position and your mate, Luna?" He rolls his eyes in disbelief, turning to his mate. They look at each other and then smile, the energy from this single act reflects the deep love they have for each other, a love that is void of imperfections, voluntary ones. I begin to envy them, wishing Gavin was like Achilles since I came here, I haven't seen any fault in Achilles, he's just so cool and friendly, of all the things Gavin has said to me about him, how evil he is, the conspirator, I haven't found him to be any of these.
