Gavin's POV 

My heart is torn between the desires of my family and the unyielding love I feel for my pregnant mate, Mia. The weight of their disapproval bears down on me, but deep within, a flicker of determination ignites. It's not easy for one man to stand alone but I will.

I take a deep breath, gathering my strength, to speak with unwavering resolve. "I understand that my decision may not align with your expectations, but I stand firm in my commitment to Mia and our unborn child. This is a journey we embark on together, and I will not forsake them."

Mom's face contorts with a mixture of anger and disbelief. "You would choose this... this outsider over your own family? Over your duty as Alpha?" She can no longer hide her anger, she bursts with it, as her heart is filled with grudges and wrath that she can no longer contend with.

I meet my mother's gaze, the fire within me burning brighter. "It is not about choosing one over the other, Mom," I replied. "It's a
