The run back home was much better than getting here. It took us two days this time to get there than when going. We may not have gotten all the solutions but it was enough to give us a starting point.

“ What's the status update?” I ask dad who remained in the pack to make sure everyone else was safe.

“ Aiden and Xavier have not found the missing children.” Dad says with distress in his voice. I can understand him, being without his mate for days is taking its tow on him.

The missing people have taken a tow on everyone and to make matters worse each person gets released every day into their monster form. Each day spent without finding Stacy is a day we turn an innocent child into a monster.
