Chapter 11. Torn Between Lovers

Mae’s POV

I look between Tish and Kieran in disbelief. I cannot believe that Kieran is the same man that Tish had sex with in the bar.

Just the thought of him touching her sends a wave of anger through my body. It is stronger than I have ever felt before. I know I feel jealous, but I don’t know who I am most jealous of. Am I jealous because Tish slept with someone who is supposedly my soul mate or because Kieran can offer Tish something that I can’t?

I pull myself back into Tish’s arms. She wraps her arms around me and holds me close, pressing her lips to my forehead.

We both watch as Kieran walks over to Jameson. A claw extends from Kieran’s fingertip, and he runs it across Jameson’s cheek, causing blood to bubble to the surface of Jameson’s skin.

“Do you know who I am?” Kieran snarls at Jameson.
