Lucianna’s POV

I watched as the other girls moved in the middle of the hall, then one of the guys would move forward, almost like a wild animal, and started to put their claim to their fated one’s neck. The way the men growled the word ‘Mine’ made my knees tremble with excitement. I couldn’t wait to hear my mate say the word!

“The Shadow pack’s Alpha is a hottie! It’s too bad we didn’t get to see him!” said a girl who rode the van with me.

What now? Were they going to keep throwing blades at me? So what if the Alpha looked good? It wasn’t as if they could continue drooling over him once they met their own mates.

Ugh. They were starting to sound pathetic to my ears! It became almost unbearable, and I couldn’t help but frown.

“Oh, yes! I heard the girls from the front talked about how mighty he is!”

“Second strongest Alpha of the North, I wonder how he looks like!”

“If it ain’t because of that bitch who came last…”
