Chapter 237. A Weeping Mass...
I woke up and gave a big stretch and a smile crossed my face. Another lavish night with André. I rolled over to his side of the bed but it was empty.
My smile quickly turned to a frown and I was about to grumble when I remembered that he said that he was going to leave early for a meeting. I scowled. I missed my morning with him. It was amazing to have my head on his chest and his scent in my nose.
I sat up and looked out of the window. The sun was up over the horizon. The birds were chirping outside and the breeze was fresh and carried with it the sound of the men chattering loudly over the hill in the encampment. André was probably there with the men. Everyone was on edge and high alert about Doran.
I dragged myself out of bed. Maybe I would go and see him there. Maybe there was some news about Doran yet…
