Chapter 178

Kingston's POV

Camilla, Belle and I were out of town for some work. I don’t know why they insist on having me come along when they’ve gotten the hang of things. We would be travelling back home today, but our last meeting ended a little later than we had expected so we were going to stay one more day and considering Belle and Camilla hate hotels we found ourselves a rental house, that’s where we slept yesterday.

As I drove us to the rental house I looked at Mirabelle in the mirror she was scrolling through her phone pissed off.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, clearing my throat.

Camilla nudges at Belle’s arm. The young woman had no idea of my question and gasps looking startled at the brush of body contact. “Huh yes.” she swallowed, tearing her attention from her phone a little while to Camilla and I.

“King is asking if you’re okay?” Camilla repeats with a light chuckle at Belle’s ignorance.
