It was like hearing that Kaden was going to be alright was all my body needed to break down. All the energy that had kept me moving from the beginning slowly washed away and my whole body ached.

I grabbed Devon’s hand to support myself but I only felt weaker and soon, I felt a sharp me in my stomach that made me scream.
