Chapter 34. A Nightstand

Kathleen was smiling from ear to ear as they came out of the registry.

They just registered their marriage!!

She was beside herself with joy though she tried to maintain a calm demeanor.

"Why don't we celebrate it?" Kathleen turned to look at Henry.

"Just the both of us I mean." She quickly added.

"Go ahead, I will be very busy today." Henry smiled at her. Since they already registered their 'marriage', he had to act happy, right?

Kathleen was a little bit hurt but she smiled all the same. "It's fine, I will go alone." She entered the car.

Henry leaned his head on the seat and closed his eyes. "Where do you plan to go? I will assign someone to accompany you." He suddenly questioned.

Kathleen felt a sweet warmth envelope her. He was asking because he cared about her right?

"A club maybe. Have a couple of drinks and dance." Kathleen shrugged.
