Chapter 137. You Have to Live, Emerald

Emerald rammed the Maybach again, but it still wasn't enough. The bodyguards had now fully surrounded her, desperate to regain control of the situation.

She sneered. Throwing the car into reverse, she slammed the gas pedal—this time, aiming for the men behind her.

Panic erupted. Those quick enough jumped out of the way, but a few unlucky ones weren't fast enough—they were sent flying three meters on impact.

While the rest of the bodyguards scrambled to divert Emerald's attention, one of them seized the chance. He yanked open the Maybach's door.

"Boss, run!"

This was the moment Emerald had been waiting for. She wanted to see who was really behind all of this. She deliberately held back for a few seconds—just long enough to get a good look.

A woman stepped out. Someone Emerald had never seen before. Dressed in an expensive, Chanel-style suit, she exuded wealth and power.
