The path to Hillary's apartment was completely silent, but I didn't even realize this fact, so lost in thoughts I was at that moment. I believe Lorenzo must have been having his reflections as well.

It's incredible to think that Rachel arrived in London just this morning, after spending a week in Italy accompanying Lorenzo on a visit to his family. And also how desperate I was to see her again, feeling a great sense of emptiness in the past few days and missing the city where I've always lived.

Even though Rachel and I have always traveled together, first with our mother and then on our own, I knew that at some point we would return home. However, now everything is completely different. But now, after this situation with Lorenzo, I'm utterly lost.

"I want you, Sarah," Lorenzo said, sounding sincere and determined. "But before that, I need to talk to Rachel and end everything between us."
