Madeline’s POV
“Hayahhhh!” I exclaimed and shifted Gabriel through the woods.
Thankfully, the trees were tall and the branches were far from the ground we were running. I had a night vision. It was what the vampires could do. I just do not know about horses, though.
Uriel was so fast in running, and I tried keeping up with him. I don’t know where he is going. He is hunting, maybe, but does it require him to run that fast?
“Faster, Gabriel! Faster – Ah!” I exclaimed when he did not see the log in front of him and he stumbled upon it.
