Chapter 91. Banquet Party

Selene's POV

While I was riding my mother through the streets of the village, every head of the werewolves turned to me like I was some goddess who passed by. I did not regard them at all because they would only give me disgusting grins. Instead, I rolled my eyes and focused on going to the palace.

The palace was so huge and it was made with pure gray cement. There were torches everywhere, werewolf guards, and training grounds where werewolves train for a possible war. Men are the only ones who are allowed to train and women take care of them when they are home from huntings or combat killings.

When the guards of the huge gates saw us coming, they immediately opened them to acknowledge our presence. We passed by a lot of torches. I don't even know if it is to intimidate enemies from the mountains or just to light up the palace in the future. I ridiculed my thoughts and grinned like an idiot.

We reached the huge doors of the palace
