It wasn't that he didn't care. It was just that he had most of the answers. He knew they were Elves. He knew the Umbrella tree was of great significance to them though he didn't know exactly what it was. He knew Frederick was the son of his uncle. He knew why Frederick tried to abduct him. There wasn't any question he needed to ask.

Well, if there was anything he really wanted to know, it was what was in his beloved's heart, about him.

Prince Ron moved closer to Zedekiel. There was no one around to witness. He didn't have to be afraid of prying eyes. He didn't have to pretend. He could openly reveal what was in his heart.

No doubt he was afraid. He was deathly scared. Zedekiel could either reciprocate his feelings or brutally turn him down.
