Chapter 74

I only got it in my first trimester and two months in the second, then George was still with me and I still had some money left from my job. It marvels me how I'm sustained to this point but the pain gets more intense. 

"Are you in labor?" Alpha Albert asks, panicked.

"No, I'm not." I answer in the midst of panting. 

"Is this your….how many months is your pregnancy?" 

"Eight!" I watch as his tenseness gives way to a relaxed face. 

"I know some women do go into early labor but…."

"No," I cut him off. "I'm not. I haven't gone for medical checkups recently, so I thought.." I get fatigued and not able to say a word further.

"It's okay, I know this is morning, when it's dawn, we will visit the hospital so you can have a proper checkup." 

"Wait, I don't get why you are all too caring, I'm not your wife, you just picked me from the street. Can you tell me what your interest is in me? We can't continue
