Regrets

“You didn’t tell Syanja about it?” Mr. Seok said to Mrs. Seok. 

“She will never agree with it.” Mrs. Seok answered while glancing down. 

“I am her father and I want her to marry with my friend’s son.” He said in a harsh tone.

“Syanja wants to focus on her career. She is twenty-three, honey.” Mrs. Seok responded. She did not like this attitude of his. 

“I know what’s good for her or what’s not, and that’s why we called her here, right?” He said.

Mrs. Seok sighed, then walked away. He was a stubborn man.

Syanja was standing behind the couch in the living room, watching some video, when a familiar voice was heard. 

“Hi, honey. You’re here already. How was your day?” asked Mrs. Seok from behind.

“Great, actually! She smiled at her mother.

“Are you okay, mom?” she ask
