Becca's POV
"Untold, Fred," I demanded to know, crossing my arms. Friederich didn't even look at me, too focused on the road ahead, as he drove to my mother's apartment. I insisted. "I want to talk soon, so we can solve our problems, you know? I kind of gave my best friend a cake yesterday, and I depend on our situation to solve this issue with him too.”
Just by mentioning Raphael, Fred gave me a slyly look.
"Are you thinking about solving it in what way, Becca?”
"I don't know. If we are well after our conversation, I will have to call him and send him to forget this platonic love story. Otherwise...”
Friederich slowed down to wait at the traffic light, so he had a few seconds to look at me for real. He didn't seem to be finding it funny at all. But I didn't care. I couldn't wait for his good will to solve the mess he caused himself. And I wasn't even so serious about wanting to solve myself with Raphael.
