Fred's POV
I went down the stairs feeling all the air of concern coming from my family. My grandfather and my mother talked in whispers, making different facial expressions, seemed nervous and with good reason. I owed everyone an explanation.
I was still tense with the thought that Joana was still on the loose and the worst, my search and now looking for Becca. It seemed that the more I tried to protect her, the more I hurt her. It left me completely lost, stunned. There was no one in that world that I wanted to protect more than her.
