Chapter 33. Worth

I sighed. I decided to sleep all day at my house and read books. The next day, I decided to go to the house to say goodbye to Arson and get some of my stuff.

I couldn’t see Jeric, which was my closest among the bodyguards, and her girlfriend, the maid, looking at me with contempt.

I don’t blame her.

She then went to me, “Why are you here?”

“I am here to get my stuff back and say goodbye to Arson.” I said, then felt bad, “Listen, I am sorry about Jeric.”

“It’s alright. He was taken by Sir Rameo as his own now.”

I nodded.

“Master Theon is sleeping in Master Arson’s room now. He strictly told us to not let you in.”

I nodded as she gave me my stuff back. “Alright.” I looked back one last time to the house and left without saying goodbye to Arson.

I didn’t think I would be this attached to Arson for me to feel sad at leaving him….

***

“Are you sad my dear?” Asked my mother as I visited her at the Elderly care.

“Yes.”
