Chapter 36. A Pack of Biscuits
Two days passed, but Daniella and Alexander seemed to be very close because even when eating at lunch or even at break time, he was always with them. Bree, on the other hand, is only with Daniella at lunch; she doesn’t go with her at break time because Bree feels that she is annoyed by Alexander’s closeness to Daniella.
While they were in the garden again, Bree was with them, but suddenly she asked for personal information about Alexander. “You look like you’re rich.”
Alexander smiled. “My parents have a job.”
“What is their job?”
“My dad owns a company, and my mom has a clothing line.” Bree raised an eyebrow at what Alexander had said.
“My thoughts are correct. You are rich; your parents own a company and a clothing line.”
Daniella stared at Alexander’s face again, like the first time she saw it. “You know, you look like a character in a book that comes out as if you’re not human.” Alexander smiled at her and shook his head.
