"Hey, DJ." Jessi unbuckled her seatbelt after taking the call.

"Yo, Jess." Darren was slurring his words now. "Where you at? You guys just disappeared."

"Sorry. Had to drive Joss somewhere."

"Yeah? Where? You guys went to the beach or somethin'?"

"Just gonna check up on someone," was what her boss said back in the bar when she asked Jenson where he wanted to go.

"You still in the bar with Kara?" she asked Darren. Jessi craned her neck and watched from afar as her boss walked straight into the lobby of a hospital-looking facility.
