Steel’s POV

Isabelle entered my office with a look of determination on her face. I looked at her curiously to try to figure out what was on her mind. I had a pretty good idea this was about the events of yesterday, that’s probably why she waited till the end of the work day to discuss it.

“What’s so important that you wanted to talk?” I wanted confirmation from her.

“You already know.” She answered as she stood in front of my desk.

“Do I?” I raised a brow.

“Yes.” I could sense a mix of frustration and annoyance in her tone.

“In case you want to continue playing dumb this is about the things you did to me yesterday.”
