Steel’s POV

I opened the door to my father’s office and stepped inside. I felt slightly on edge, the fact this was about Isabelle has me concerned. I needed to know what information he has and I need it now.

“Nice of you to finally show up.” My father coldly scoffed.

I know he’s not happy with what I’m doing. He knows I’m up to something but the fact he’s been kept in the dark is getting to him. Sterling Alvanov likes to know everything and this is one thing he has no power over.

“What do you want to see me about?” I asked as I sat down across from him.

“I’ve got things I need to do.”

“Like what?” His face remained emotionless as he questioned me.

“None of your business.” I’ll let him in on everything later, I don’t want him stepping in to ruin my plans.

“Get on with it.”
