Isabelle’s POV

Things have been rather hectic since the bakery opened a few months ago. The majority of the time, the place is packed, and I don’t recall ever having to discard anything before leaving. Everything’s sold out when I leave and I even have orders for days in advance.

I was worried at first about being able to keep up with everything. However, it took me a few days to ultimately figure out a system that works for me. Since then, everything has been going well, which has resulted in many happy consumers and some incredible reviews.

As soon as the doorbell sounded, I looked up and saw Steel. He was dressed sharply in his suit and his eyes practically devoured me as he stepped closer to me.

“To what do I owe this pleasure?” I asked as I remained behind the desk.

“I was just checking if you were busy?” His eyes swept throughout the bakery.
