As Antonette came out onto the street, to her great surprise, she bumped into Kyle.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Antonette’s arm and dragged her to an alley a few buildings down from the police station.

“Antonette, what did I tell you? If I find something connecting you to Carol’s death…” Kyle said intensely.
