Chapter 244. A Troublemaker

A flash of unmistakable panic appeared on the woman’s face. But she kept pestering, “Listen to these distraction tactics! Do you want to sort out our debt or not?”

“Madam, please remember you are responsible for what you say,” Diana said chillily.

What Diana said infuriated the woman. She raised her hand with the intent to slap Diana. But Jason quickly stepped in the way and took the hit for her. A few seconds later, the woman tried to slap Diana again. She pushed Jason away and raised her hand. By this time, Diana was already freaked out; she didn’t deal well with a physical threat.
