“Boss.” Assistant Cliff bowed and carefully placed the Rosevix land document on the table.

Maverick casually arched his brows and opened the document to skim through. “Good.” He commented, his face and tone blank, making his emotions indecipherable.

Assistant Cliff hesitated. Maverick could have broken in from the beginning if he wanted to. If Maverick wanted, those people would have been lying in the hospital, but wanting to go through such a risky thing—was it worth it? “Young master going like that, Miss Tatiana…”

Maverick placed the document on the table and raised his head to stare at Assistant Cliff. He glared at Assistant Cliff in disdain, as if to say that it had been years since Assistant Cliff had been by his side, yet he still couldn’t understand Maverick well.
