Maverick twisted the doorknob and opened the door to his office; his expression deadpanned.

Suddenly, his expression switched to gloom, and a freezing aura began to exude from him. Regardless, Maverick stepped into his office.

Her face seemed to have minimal or no makeup, making her look so innocent and enchanting. A sweet smile appeared on her face, and she raised Valencia’s book.

“Maverick, I went through the script; I love it so much. Can I act in it?” Tatiana inquired in a nervous tone. She clenched the book tightly, and her breath unconsciously hitched as if she were afraid that Maverick would coldly reject her.
