Leah's POV

That night, the only thing on my mind was Estefan rejecting me. I couldn't bring myself to get over it because it hurt my ego. 

I, Leah Knight who men would be delighted just to spend a second with me was rejected by the one man I wanted. No, I couldn't let this slide. I had to make him want me at all costs. 

The following morning, I woke up a bit late because I didn't have anywhere to go. I went downstairs to meet Rhea on her usual spot on the couch, listening to some music as she typed furiously on her laptop.

"Good morning," I raised my voice above the sound of her music so she could hear me.

"Good morning," she said without sparing me a glance.

"Where are Mom and Dad?" 

"I believe you should check your time before asking me that question," she retorted with her eyes still on the laptop.
