Chapter 44

Rhea's POV

It was 4:30 am when I woke up to write the last chapter of my book; Royal Deception. The deadline for entry in the writing contest was the end of the month, so I had two weeks to finish editing and submitting the book. 

I tried not to type too hard on my laptop so I wouldn't wake Estefan, who was still sleeping soundly, with the noise that the keys made. Sleeping on the same bed with him was so uncomfortable since I was used to having an entire bed all to myself. Maybe I could convince him to let us have separate rooms when he wakes up because I didn't think I could cope with the new setting.

Estefan stirred beside me and I pretended not to notice still he sat up. "Why are you awake this early?" He asked in a deep morning voice.

"I get my best inspiration at this time of the day and besides, it was so uncomfortable to sleep here." I shifted my attention from my laptop to look at him and I regretted I did.
