“I heard that Obelisk is looking for you because you rebelled and massacred civilians in Iraq,” said Mr. Marcus, who has now returned to sitting on the sofa. “Considering that you were my best student, I knew that you would not do something like that.”
Greyson let go when he realized that the Beretta M9 pistol in his hand was just a toy gun.
“I was framed. But now I don’t have evidence to prove my innocence,” replied Greyson.
He drank the tea provided by Mr. Marcus, “So, after leaving Obelisk, you chose to hide your identity as a professor at Lubellia?”
“As you can see,” Mr. Marcus directed his gaze to the photos on the wall. “The real Marcus has had many accomplishments and is known by important people. The identity itself is good enough for me to hide.”
