Chapter 62. The Truth

Khushi's POV

Darsh drove us home after we quickly finished our dinner. He seemed to have wrapped up everything as soon as possible, only to leave for home.

He rattled upstairs silently when we entered the mansion. The house staff were waiting for us in the living room. They became a little alarmed to see Darsh acting that way.

"Is everything okay between you and Master?" Sia rushed over to me and asked with worried eyes.

I nodded and she let out a relieved sigh. My gaze landed on Uncle Hemant, who was observing Darsh stomp upstairs from a corner.

"Uncle Hemant?" I called.

His attention finally shifted to me, and he asked, "Yes, my lady?"

"Can I speak with you for a moment?" I requested. Uncle Hemant's expression briefly turned confused, but he nodded right away.

"What is it, my lady?" As we were both seated across from one another in the garden, Uncle Hemant asked.

"Today, we went out for dinner."

"I know." He smi
