Chapter 207. The Fortune Teller’s Confession

"We'll tell you later," Mia said in a depressed voice. "Now, we have to get away from that woman first."

Receiving a gray answer, Lena's nerves tightened as well. Without asking any further, she deepened her head bow and walked faster.

“Excuse me, Miss,” the fortune teller greeted when Mia arrived near her.

Instead of answering, the pregnant woman looked away and swung her legs wider. Realizing that Mia was afraid of her, the fortune teller suddenly exclaimed, "I want to apologize."

Unexpectedly, that statement succeeded in stopping Mia's movement. After gritting her teeth for a moment, the pregnant woman turned around and showed teary eyes.

"What are you apologizing for?" she asked in a trembling voice. "Do you know that because of that stupid prophecy, we lost a father.”

Hearing the pain, the woman in black spontaneously bit her lip and squeezed her own fingers. After swallowing hard, she tried to move the mute tongue.
